Global Spectrum’s hard work and commitment to managing facilities that have low impact on the environment is stronger than ever with a company-wide, comprehensive campaign called “Step-Up.”

At every Global Spectrum-managed facility, the company is dedicated to reducing its environmental impact by saving energy, reducing, reusing, and recycling. Here in Sioux Falls we have continued our commitment resulting in a green facility.

Green Improvements:

• The use of green cleaning detergents for all surfaces

• Garbage waste converted into post-consumer recycled goods

• All battery operated hand towel dispensers replaced with manual dispensers that utilize recycled paper in all of our rest rooms

• Use of Green Sloan UpperCut dual-flush levers for rest room toilets to both of our concourse rest rooms – on average using 40% less water than standard flush levers and eliminated batteries that automatic sensors require

• Energy-efficient lighting for both interior and exterior use

• Encourage employees to reduce and reuse products in the building along with educating clients during move-in and move-out why we keep lights low and heating or cooling to a minimum

• Keeping air conditioning cooling systems shut down from November through April
